Kojicon is back for its sixth year with Kojicon 2026: Culture Shift, celebrating the rich heritage of mold-based fermentation and the groundbreaking innovations shaping its future.
Kojicon, a two-week virtual fermentation conference hosted by Yellow Farmhouse Education Center, is happening from February 16th to March 2nd, 2026. Culture Shift explores how cultures, from microbes to humans, shift and adapt to forces beyond our control. From issues of climate change and politics to industrialization and food sovereignty, cultures are constantly shifting to find a new foothold in the modern world.
How can these age-old traditions adapt to stay relevant, and how can innovations find a place without stepping on the culture(s) that made them possible? Dive deeper from February 16 to March 2, 2026.
What is Kojicon?
Kojicon is a two-week interactive virtual conference from February 16 to March 2, 2026.
